The Sound of Robin

Tonight, Robin was mouthing off and so we were getting very stern and lecturing her about respect, speaking properly to adults etc. I left the room and Beth continued talking to her. Robin turned around and looked at her and said "What is this? The Von Trapp family?".

Robin and Abby are going with Beth, Gram and Nana to the Sound of Music this Sunday and we had shown them the movie once a couple of weeks ago (Robin didn't even seem that interested in the movie at the time...). As Gram said, good luck to her future teachers...

Tour for Kids 2009

We've just finished the Tour for Kids. Our team raised almost $30,000 for kids with cancer and their families. The kids were there to welcome us back with custom made signs!

Flower Girls

We were in Ottawa on the weekend for Beth's cousin's wedding. The girls were flower girls, along with a ring boy named Michael. They spent the day together with the bride's maids getting their hair done etc, then we saw them get out of a huge Lincoln Navigator limo. Robin was hanging on to Michael, and didn't let go until I dragged both of them out of the evening reception at about 10:30pm. When I was getting them ready for bed, Robin was balling "I want Michael... I miss him". Holy @#@@! The next day was more of the same... unbelievable. Cute? Scary? Both! :-)
